Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Law in Washington requires that you are 18 years old to get tattooed. RCW 26.28.085

If needed, consultations are free and can take 15-30 minutes (depending on the

project). You’ll be able to sit down with your artist to ask any questions you have and go

over idea/specifics. It also allows us to take photos and notes, and give price quotes

and schedule appointments.

Not all tattoos require one! If we feel like one is necessary we’ll request scheduling one,

or if you have questions or would like to meet the artist as well.

Appointments can be booked by email or during the consultation. Please do not DM the

artists on social media as it’s too hard to keep track of.

We’re currently by appointment only. We do sometimes get cancellations, so it’s always

worth an email to check.

We prefer to avoid the use of numbing creams as they can mess with the texture of skin

and healing process. Also, once they wear off the pain can be worse.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the location of the tattoo, bring photo ID and make

sure you’re fed and hydrated beforehand.

We ask that you only bring one person with you as it's a smaller space and any more

than that can be a distraction to the artist.

Tattoos are priced by piece/hourly. Our shop minimum is $100 (to cover the cost of

supplies) and our artists are $175 an hour.

We appreciate as much notice as possible but if it’s after 72 hours to the time of the

appointment, it can result in the loss of your deposit. Not showing up will also result in a

loss of the deposit.

We do! We require an in person consultation to look at the area so we can plan on a

course of action.

We offer free touch-ups for 6 months after the tattoo was completed. However, there

are no free touch-ups on hands, fingers or feet. If the tattoo was done at another

location or with another artist, please contact us so we can take a look and go over

options.

We do not.

We will not tattoo anyone pregnant for safety reasons. As for breastfeeding, we

recommend waiting as infections can be a risk to the child.

Anything that affects your immune systems can cause healing issues. Examples are

hiv/aids, diabetes and anything that uses blood thinning medications. Please talk to your

artist and doctor to approach the situation safely.

Yes, if you are sunburned you’ll need to wait until it’s fully healed to get a tattoo as it’s

damaged skin. For things like acne, psoriasis, rosacea or eczema, please consult with

your artist ahead of time as it can be situational.

It can happen very infrequently. Most of the time it’s a result of stress or low blood

sugar. That’s why it’s imperative that you are hydrated and have eaten within a few

hours of your appointment.

Usually, yes. Please check with your clinic to see if they need further information or

have restrictions.
